Symera is a tall, pale girl. She has a slim face and wide, almond-shaped dark green eyes. She has dark red hair that is usually wild and sometimes falls over the right side of her face. She has broad shoulders and a slim figure like most vampires. She has a naturally rosy tint to her cheeks and lips, making her appear full of life when she is technically undead. Her skin is unblemished along with another factor of what she is. She usually wears black t-shirts and dark jeans. When she is in a good mood, she will wear a Ninja Turtles Shirt. Never absent from her person are three pieces of jewelry. Around her neck hangs a leather pouch on a leather cord. It is full to bursting with her most important objects. On her left wrist is a thick leather bracelet with a wooden oval imprinted with a wolf's paw. Her ears are pierced and the ear rings are two small, black bats.

Personality
Symera isn't exactly the friendliest girl around. She has a dark personality and twisted sense of humor. She blames it on the fact that she's a vampire, but in reality, it's just because she wants everyone to leave her alone. She is very self-conscious and afraid of what those around her might think. Whenever she is asked to talk about herself, she either pretends like she doesn't hear, or has to keep from spilling tears. Despite her moments of weakness, she is usually an aggressive and unfriendly. She gives off a 'stay back' sort of aura. She is the kind of girl who can easily fall for a guy who shares her aggression or moodiness. When she likes someone, they don't know because she is far to afraid to show any kind of affection. Something she hates about herself is her insecurity as well as her empathy toward others. She feels what others feel with a glance. It annoys her, infuriates her. How is she supposed to not care when she feels the emotions of others? Her whole life, she has been considered blunt because she says things in a very straight forward manner. When told she is being blunt, she takes great offense to this and goes off on a rant. She has put walls up around herself. Not even she can break them. No one knows who she really can be. Despite all her insecurities, Mera enjoys being a vampire. She shows this by having her fangs elongated the majority of the time. Her speech is usually quiet and annoyed, with the slightest hint of an Irish accent.

History
Symera was born a vampire. Both her parents were vampires, though no one knew. Her father died of mysterious causes (Mera suspects that he was murdered by humans) when she was only three. She was taught her whole life that humans were bad and that they were the murderous ones. She was taught that the humans rejected them just because of what they required for sustenance. One night, when Symera was eight, she was drawing at her little desk in her room. She drew a dog, not a very good one, but she loved it. She began drawing the pink and purple dog all the time. At the age of ten, the dog became a wolf and her eyes became green. Her name was now Jade. This was when she discovered she developed a power most Vamps did not. She could conjure a familiar. It was just a normal night. Mera sat on her bed, feeling the loneliness she often felt since she could not attend a human school. She looked at one of her most previous drawings of Jade, which looked very realistic now. She longed for a companion like Jade. Suddenly, there was a puff of smoke and Jade was there. Symera quickly informed her mother and they celebrated the discovery of Symera's magical abilities. That same night, Jade appeared while Mera was sleeping and warned her to leave the house. Tired and disoriented, the young girl stumbled from her home in her pajamas and followed Jade into an alley beside the huge house. When Mera looked up at her home, all she saw was flames. Not long after, Symera was shipped off to Safe Haven with the remainder of her belongings.
