Fairies/Fae
Fairies are humans who are usually short and can sprout wings on will. They have magical abilities and usually a charming demeanor. Fae are the male version. Most can conjure flames or sparks, but some have unique magic.
Appearance:
Fairies and Fae don't seem very different from humans. They just look a little short for their age. They are usually very slim and pale with almond-shaped eyes and a bright smile. When they're wings are summoned, they are usually a very light material and colored like butterfly wings. Most are see-through. Fairies usually wear lots of sparkly make up and tend to be rather girly and giggly.
Health:
Fairies can heal themselves through magic, but otherwise have the same health as a human. Their wings are very delicate, though. Even getting them wet may cause problems.
Transition/Magic:
The "transition" is when the wings break through the skin between the shoulder blades. This process only takes a moment, but is usually painful for the Fae or Fairy undergoing the experience. The magic of these Mythics drains them. Major magic can leave them unconscious if their skill is lacking.
